Emergency Service & Support

Overview

ACC provides a variety of emergency support programs including up to 24x7 coverage for customers’ most critical systems. Most programs include preventive maintenance as well as on-site response to system emergencies. Programs are individually tailored to the needs of each customer with respect to coverage, response, and preventive services:

Coverage Options

  • Normal Business Hours (Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5PM)
  • 24-hour, Monday-Friday only
  • 7 days/24 hours

  • 4-hours on-site
  • 8-hour on-site
  • Next business day
  • Response via phone / dial in

Typical System Coverage

ACC Support Programs typically include systems and components associated with automation and/or data collection systems, including:

  • SCADA/HMI systems, including peripherals (printers, UPS, network components)
  • Historian systems
  • System interfaces (OPC servers, custom communication software, etc.)
  • Reporting and data collection applications
  • PLC-based systems, networks, and I/O
  • Related hardware such as power supplies, drives, motor starters, scale interfaces, etc.

Preventive Maintenance

Most support programs include periodic, pre-scheduled preventive maintenance. Typical frequency is three to six months; activities are tailored for each system and application.

  • Backup of all configuration files
  • Hard drive check (if hard drive is close to capacity, ACC will notify the customer and archive selected files to CD or other media)
  • Review system alarm and log files
  • Check database tables archive as needed to prevent from getting too large.
  • Create registry backups or emergency recovery disks for all PCs.
  • Summary report including incidents and recommendations
